ECO WATER PEARLS
Throw out your brown ugly soil and begin to grow your plants and fresh cut flowers in beautiful glass vases filled with colorful water filled beads.
This is a GREAT item for Wedding Centerpieces, Event Decor or to just have around the home or office.
Introducing Eco Water Pearls. A fresh take on an old product that has been around for many years.
Our pearls are very different from what you have seen before!

Instructions
Eco Water Pearls can last up to 4 years if they are kept away from direct sunlight (UV rays) and are handled with care. The material is biodegradable and will eventually break down. In the meantime they will shrink and rehydrate constantly.
Eco Water Pearls can simply be rinsed with water to wash off any dirt or dust off of them. If algae have developed (if the balls look cloudy) wash them with diluted liquid fertilizer to kill any living bacteria.
Never freeze the balls. To store them for future use, place them in a zip-lock bag and store them in a dry place and at room temperature.
Empty the contents of one package (colored balls) into 1 litre (quart) of water. For best results for growing plants also add 1 teaspoon of liquid fertilizer (e.g - Miracle Grow).
Let contents soak in water for 6-8 hours or overnight. After this time it will be clearly evident that the colored balls will have increased in size tremendously, as they will have absorbed water.
Using a strainer, remove the colored balls from the water and place them in a container of your choice (vase, flower pot).
Place the plant in the container after removing as much soil as possible from the plant's roots.
Should the plant have no soil at all, simply place it right in the container with the soaked balls. The plant will develop normally and will last for a very long time. These balls also regulate the amount of water absorbed by the plant, thus preventing over-watering which would cause the plant to wilt prematurely.
After approximately 2 weeks or more (depending on prevailing temperatures) the balls will have shrunk in size. At such time, remove the balls and place them in a container with water for approximately 3-4 hours, or until they reach their maximum size again. Then repeat steps 3 to 5.
They are non-toxic (child-safe/pet-safe). The pearls can be a choking hazard so please keep out of children's reach.
Please do not flush pearls or wash pearls down a sink. It may clog your pipes.
If you are keeping Fresh Cut Flowers or Bamboo in your pearls, they will need a few inches of standing water in the bottom of the container.
If you are keeping an orchid in your pearls, please take out the orchid while you re-hydrate your pearls. Drain off the excess water and put your Orchid back into the pearls. Do not let the Orchid soak in water. You will possibly kill it.
Any type of tropical plant will live the best in your pearls. A plant that needs a lot of water or very little water probably will not do very well. I have found that the plants with a large root work the best as well as plants that have thick rubbery leaves. You will just have to try your plant.
If you have layered your pearls into different colors, to not disturb the layered look when re-hydrating you can fill up the container and wait the 3-4 hours for them to plump back up, then with a turkey bayster suck out the water from the container until there is no water left and only the pearls.
If you are going to use scent with the pearls: Most scent on the market is oil based. We sell a water based scent that will actually absorb right into the pearls and not sit on the outside. We sell these scents at our mall locations.
If you want to put the pearls away, just stop watering them and they will shrink back down to the original size.
You can also mix the pearls with soil to lessen the amount of time you will have to water your plants in larger vases or even your outdoor plants!
****If by chance, the pearls do grow a little green slime in the bottom of the vase (This occassionally happens with a few type of plants and different scented oils)...just rinse the pearls off and they will be as good as new!

Amazing Alien Slime Kit
WARNING: This set contains chemicals that may be harmful if misused. Not to be used by children unless under direct adult supervision. Not for children under 3 years. Please read individual packages for additional warnings. Do NOT pour the slime, powder or beads down the sink or into the toilet. Dispose of everything into the garbage!
This Kit will make approx. 5 batches of Alien Slime.
You will need from this kit: Slime Powder and Water Pearls.
You need to get yourself: Water, 2 large (16 oz.) transparent disposable cups/containers, Paper Towel, Plastic Spoon or Popsicle stick (for stirring), Food coloring (optional), a ¼ teaspoon and a ½ teaspoon.
Before You Start: You will need to have an adult assist you in making the slime. You will need to prepare an area where it is okay to spill a little. (The Slime wipes off easily from counter areas but is more difficult to get out of clothes.)
Instructions:

Fill one of the cups with 16 oz.. of room-temperature water. If you would like, you can add of few drops of food coloring to the water.

Use measuring spoons to measure ¾ of a teaspoon of the Alien Powder into the second cup. (You can use a ½ teaspoon and a ¼ teaspoon to equal ¾ of a teaspoon.) Be careful to not inhale the powder- the powder is non-toxic, but inhaling the powder will make you cough.

Pour the water from the first cup into the second cup with the powder. Stir gently and then pour everything back into the first cup.

At this point you will need to keep pouring the mixture back and forth from one cup to another. You will need to pour fairly quickly so that the Slime doesn't clump. (If it does start to clump, gently stir the liquid again. If the clumps won't break up. Let the mixture sit for 24 hours to allow the clumps to dissapear.)

After 2-3 minutes of pouring back and forth rather quickly, the Slime should start to get stringy. At this time you can start pouring more slowly. You will still need to continue pouring back and forth for another 5 minutes.

After a full 10 minutes of pouring you can now let the Slime sit in one of the cups for about 30-40 minutes.

Now your Alien Slime is ready.

Holding one cup above the other start pouring the slime into the second container. You will notice that it is quite difficult to stop the slime from pouring out of the glass! Once it starts to move it will actually almost climb out of the cup and over the edge into the cup below.
How Does it Work? This is the science of polymers. It's a unique kind of polymer made up of two smaller pieces called monomers. The first kind (polyacrylamide) acts like a sponge and sucks up water. The second kind (acrylate) links long strings of molecules together. When the pieces get linked together this is why the Slime continues to pull itself out of the cup.
Using the Water Pearls: In a small bowl add approx. 20 small beads into about 2 cups of warm water. Let the beads sit for a few hours until they have grown about 4 times their size. (The longer you leave the beads in the water the larger they get!) Pour off the excess water and put the water pearls in with the Slime. Now when you pour the slime, the Water Pearls will flow with it! Cool!
